It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Rawn Clark, a guiding light to so many in the Franz Bardon community. Rawn’s unwavering dedication to Bardon’s teachings and his selfless efforts to support others on their spiritual journeys have left an enduring legacy. When I began studying Hermetics in 2008, Rawn’s work and insights that he expressed in the online communities at the time were a tremendous help, I read through A Bardon Companion numerous times when working on the first steps.
Through his website, A Bardon Companion, Rawn shared resources that have helped students around the world. His contributions include:
- Companions Along The Way: A Workbook for IIH Steps One to Ten
- A Bardon Companion: Commentaries on Bardon’s three core books — Initiation Into Hermetics, The Practice of Magical Evocation, and The Key to the True Kabbalah.
- The Eight Temples Meditation Project: A meditation series aimed at helping practitioners deepen their spiritual practice.
- The 231 Gates of Initiation: A guide to exploring wisdom paths and their role in personal growth.
- The 32 Paths of Wisdom Tarot: A tarot deck inspired by Kabbalistic teachings.
- The Center of Stillness Meditation: A set of practices focused on finding inner peace and self-awareness.
- The Self-Healing Archaeous: Techniques for personal healing and transformation.
- The Bardon Questionnaire and Correspondence (Bardon Praxis): A personalized approach where Rawn guided students through their questions and challenges, offering tailored insights rooted in Bardon’s teachings.
These works reflect Rawn’s lifelong commitment to making Hermetic teachings approachable and practical.
His book, A Bardon Companion, is particularly valuable for anyone following Bardon’s system of initiation. The updated second edition offers thoughtful insights and practical advice that many have found indispensable in their studies.
Rawn’s generosity and dedication have been a source of inspiration to countless people, and his teachings will continue to guide others for years to come.
Rest in Peace Rawn.
Gratitude should go to the ‘Blue Magician’ for hosting a snapshot of Rawns website after it became unavailable several years ago. See the site here.
